Arts Cheyenne, a nonprofit organization in Wyoming, has received a grant from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund to support its new printing program called “Block Ink Press.” The funding will help cover operating costs and the purchase of an ink press for the program.
The Block Ink Press program will offer monthly print making courses at the Arts Cheyenne Community Center, providing residents with skill-based art education on a community level. The organization expresses gratitude to Delta Kappa Gamma for their initial $5,000 donation towards the press.
Desiree Brothe, Executive Director at Arts Cheyenne, is excited about the opportunities this funding will create for the community. She stated, “It just creates this opportunity for residents in our community to have skill-based art education on a community level.”
Those interested in participating in Arts Cheyenne’s courses can find more information on their website. This initiative aims to promote art education and creativity in the community, thanks to the support of the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund and generous donations from organizations like Delta Kappa Gamma.
