A tragic crash in Tennessee has left two people and an unborn baby dead, with the driver responsible now facing serious charges. Jonathon Jones, 20, was driving recklessly on Raccoon Valley Road when he crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Ford Expedition. Witnesses reported seeing Jones passing cars on a double-yellow line before the crash occurred. In total, five people were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. Among the casualties were Casandra Jones, who was pregnant with Jonathon’s baby, and Virginia Brooks, a passenger in the Ford Expedition. Jonathon Jones has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, improper passing, and three counts of vehicular homicide by intoxication. During his interactions with police, Jones displayed signs of impairment, including bloodshot, watery eyes, and admitting to smoking marijuana.
