Kaileigh Seidel, a 24-year-old woman from Oregon, tragically lost her life while out on the Willamette River on an inner tube being pulled by a boat. According to her family, the driver of the boat was driving erratically and made a turn too fast, causing Kaileigh to be thrown into the side of another boat. She later died from her injuries in the hospital.
Her family is now blaming the boat driver for her death, stating that she had no control over the situation and was pleading for them to slow down. They describe Kaileigh as a fun-loving and spontaneous person who made everyone around her feel loved.
As they mourn her loss, her relatives are finding solace in the memories shared by others on a GoFundMe page set up to help with funeral expenses. They are urging people to cherish their loved ones and let them know how much they are appreciated.
The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made yet. They are speaking with witnesses and will determine if any criminal charges will be filed once all the facts are clear.
The family is devastated by the loss of Kaileigh and hopes that justice will be served in this tragic accident. They warn others to be cautious when out on the water and to always prioritize safety.
