Neighbor identified as gunman in North Las Vegas shooting spree that claimed lives of man’s 3 relatives

A man from New Mexico, Sal Muñoz, is heartbroken and confused after a shooting spree in North Las Vegas left three of his family members dead and his 13-year-old granddaughter critically injured. The suspect, Eric Adams, died by suicide as authorities closed in on him. The victims identified so far include Muñoz’s ex-wife, daughter, grandson, and another woman named Kayla Harris. Muñoz’s ex-wife lived upstairs from Adams and sometimes helped him get to work. Muñoz’s grandson was initially called downstairs by Adams’ girlfriend’s daughter, and the violence ensued when she threatened to call the police after witnessing the initial killings. Muñoz described his daughter as on the verge of becoming a professional respiratory therapist. Adams, who had a criminal history including charges of domestic battery by strangulation, had previously worked odd jobs and was known for being a good singer who made his family laugh. His mother, Bobbie Anne Adams, spoke out about his positive qualities despite his troubled past. Muñoz expressed grief and disbelief over the senseless act that took his family members away from him.Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident, with the North Las Vegas police leading the process.
