This Saturday, the World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) is set to take place in Chicago, starting at 8 p.m. and running until midnight. The 14-mile route celebrates bicycle power and body positivity with a “bare-as-you-dare” theme, encouraging body paint, costumes, and underwear. Full-frontal nudity is considered illegal in Chicago but participants often take the risk. Check-in is between 6 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, with the route to be announced Friday. Cyclists are advised to bring helmets, water, snacks, clothes, and to stick together for safety and emergency situations. The event ends with an afterparty, promoting a fun and safe environment for all participants. WNBR highlights the vulnerability of cyclists and aims to promote a positive body image. More information can be found on the WNBR Chicago Facebook page.
