Crews to Begin Construction on US Highway 30 in Pine Bluffs
Starting Monday, crews from the Wyoming Department of Transportation and Simon Contractors will begin work on US Highway 30 in Pine Bluffs, weather permitting. The project will focus on the stretch between Parson Street and the Wyoming–Nebraska state line, specifically mile markers 401–403.
The construction will include a mill and overlay, a box culvert replacement, and a new railroad crossing at Butler Avenue. During the culvert work, a signed detour will be in place from 3rd Street to Market Street, and a 16-foot width restriction will be enforced throughout the project.
The project is expected to be completed by fall, and drivers are urged to follow all posted signs, flaggers, and other traffic controls and avoid distractions like cell phones while driving through work zones.
All project schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions and material availability. For more information, residents can contact WYDOT District 1 public information specialist Andrea Staley at 307-745-2142 or andrea.staley@wyo.gov. The resident engineer on the project, Wayne Shenefelt, is also available at wayne.shenefelt@wyo.gov.
