The visit will highlight the hardworking miners who contribute to the production of Budweiser glass bottles and support families of fallen military members and first responders through a generous donation.
The event schedule includes a private event at Solvay Chemicals on July 3, the participation of the Clydesdales in the Liberty Day Parade hosted by the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce on July 4, and a “Cheers to Trona” event at the Green River Chamber of Commerce on July 5. These events aim to celebrate the connection between trona mining and Budweiser’s renowned glass bottles.
Furthermore, Budweiser’s collaboration with Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization providing educational scholarships to families of fallen or disabled military members and first responders, will be highlighted during the Clydesdales’ visit. Anheuser-Busch has been a long-standing partner of Folds of Honor, donating millions of dollars over the years to support their mission. During the event in Sweetwater County, a $10,000 Folds of Honor scholarship will be presented to a local family, showcasing Budweiser’s commitment to honoring and supporting those who serve the country.
