The city of Casper is seeking input from residents on non-motorized trail ideas in and around the area. A planning exercise was conducted on June 6 to gather suggestions and discuss priorities for trails, with the deadline for feedback being July 8. Casper is working with various organizations, including Wyoming Pathways and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, to plan trails in areas such as Rim Rock and Fremont-Alcova. Residents are encouraged to share their ideas through a trails feedback form and sign up for emails related to Casper-area trails planning through Wyoming Pathways. Casper Parks, Recreation and Public Facilities Director Zulima Lopez urges citizens to stay informed and contribute to the trail planning process. No decisions were made during the June 6 charrette event, but it provided a platform for residents and land managers to discuss trail ideas and issues. Residents who were unable to attend the event are still encouraged to offer their input on trail suggestions.
