An 18-year-old man, identified as Silas Salyer of Underhill, was found stuck under a car in the parking lot of Mount Mansfield Union High School in Jericho, Vermont. Vermont State Police were called to the scene on Thursday around 4 p.m. when it was reported that Salyer appeared to be trapped under the vehicle. The police immediately assisted Salyer and rushed him to the hospital in Burlington, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
According to investigators, Salyer was working on his car in the high school parking lot when the jack holding up the vehicle collapsed. The police have determined that his death is not considered suspicious.
