After a year of restrictions and cancellations due to the pandemic, Splash Day is making its return to Gresham Arts Plaza for a summer of fun and excitement. The popular event, scheduled for July 10th, will feature water activities, games, music, and more for families and friends to enjoy.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of water-themed activities, including a giant inflatable water slide, water balloon games, and sprinklers to help beat the summer heat. There will also be live music performances, food vendors, and interactive art installations for all to enjoy.
“We are thrilled to bring back Splash Day to the community this summer,” said event coordinator Sarah Thompson. “After a difficult year, we wanted to create a safe and enjoyable event for families and friends to come together and have some fun in the sun.”
In addition to the fun-filled activities, Splash Day will also provide opportunities for local artists to showcase their work and connect with the community. Attendees can expect to see a range of art displays and interactive installations throughout the plaza.
The event will adhere to all current health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all attendees. Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the plaza, and mask-wearing will be encouraged in crowded areas.
Splash Day is free to attend and open to all ages. Families are encouraged to bring their own towels and sunscreen to fully enjoy the water activities. The event will take place from 10am to 4pm, with plenty of parking available nearby.
Don’t miss out on the return of Splash Day to Gresham Arts Plaza this summer for a day of water fun and community celebration.
