Atlanta police are searching for two robbers who were captured on video breaking into a check cashing store from the ceiling and stealing money from a safe. The suspects, believed to have had a lookout, used power tools to cut into the roof of the store before dropping in and grabbing stacks of cash. The Atlanta Police Department and Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta have released images of the suspects from the security video in an effort to identify them. The footage shows the suspects breaching the ceiling and exiting the store. The manager of the store was unharmed but bound with duct tape during the robbery. The suspects made off with an estimated $150,000 from a large safe using a pink and black duffle bag to transport the stolen cash. In a separate incident on the same day, security video captured a man in a mask and hoodie burglarizing a business by breaching through a bathroom wall. This burglary resulted in the theft of clothing and purses, and investigators are processing fingerprints found at the scene. It is unclear if the two incidents are related, as both investigations remain active and ongoing. The manager remains unharmed after the incident at the check cashing store.
