Al Pacino opened up about his battle with Covid-19 and near-death experience on a recent podcast. The 84-year-old actor revealed that in 2020, he fell sick at home from Covid and almost died. Pacino had a fever, was dehydrated, had a faint pulse, and lost consciousness. He described how paramedics and doctors came to his rescue and brought him back from the brink of death. Although he didn’t have any profound experiences while unconscious, Pacino reflected on his mortality and what it means to face death. Despite his long and successful career in Hollywood, including roles in iconic films like “The Godfather” and “Scarface,” Pacino admitted that the experience of almost dying made him contemplate life and the afterlife. Last year, Pacino made headlines when he welcomed his fourth child at the age of 83. This brush with death has clearly left a mark on the legendary actor, prompting him to reflect on the fragility of life and what lies beyond.
