Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a series of new sexual assault and rape accusations, according to five new civil lawsuits filed by attorney Tony Buzbee in the Southern District of New York. The suits allege that Combs sexually assaulted or raped the plaintiffs in separate incidents dating back to 2000. Two of the plaintiffs are men and three are women, including one woman who claims Combs raped her when she was 13 years old. Additionally, Combs is accused of drugging one of the men and the three women.
Buzbee plans to file a total of seven suits against Combs, stating that they will continue to gather evidence and prepare filings to see that justice is done. Combs has denied all accusations through his attorneys, expressing confidence in the facts, legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process.
Currently, Combs is being held without bail on federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges, with a trial scheduled to start on May 5. Federal prosecutors are going through data on over 90 devices seized from Combs’ properties during raids this year. Combs’ legal team is requesting that his accusers in the federal sex trafficking case be publicly identified to prepare a proper defense.
Since his former girlfriend filed a lawsuit against him, multiple individuals, including former member of Danity Kane Dawn Richard, have sued Combs, alleging groping, assault, and threats. Despite the mounting accusations, Combs continues to deny all allegations against him.
