Professor E. Gregory Wallace has been appointed as a Fellow at the University of Wyoming College of Law’s Firearms Research Center (FRC). The FRC aims to change the conversation around firearms and the Second Amendment through research, scholarship, and legal training. Wallace is a co-author of the leading textbook on firearms law and the Second Amendment and specializes in topics such as assault weapons and mass public shootings.
His work has been cited in court opinions, including in the Fourth and Seventh Circuits, and he has published articles on topics such as firearm ballistics and statistical evidence on firearms use. Wallace has also provided commentary on firearms issues in various media outlets, including TheHill.com, CBS News, NPR, and more.
For over a decade, Wallace has taught a course on firearms law and the Second Amendment at Campbell Law School. Campbell Law, founded in 1976, is known for producing lawyers with moral conviction, social compassion, and professional competence. The school has been recognized for having the nation’s top Professionalism Program by the ABA and the best Trial Advocacy Program by the American Academy of Trial Lawyers.
With nearly 5,000 alumni spread across the country, Campbell Law is celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2024. Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, the school has been housed in a state-of-the-art facility for 15 years.
