The 2024 Election Day in Natrona County, Wyo., saw several key races take place with updated numbers being released as ballots are counted. In the Natrona County Commissioner race, Dave North and Casey Coates emerged as the winners for the 4-year term. Judges Joshua Eames and Catherine Wilking were both retained for 6-year terms in the District Court of the 7th Judicial District.
On the Casper City Council, Amber Pollock and Patrick Sweeney secured victory for Ward 1, while Kyle Gamroth and Matthew Larson emerged as winners for Ward 2. Michael Mcintosh won the Ward 3 seat, and Candace Machado was elected as the Mayor of Evansville.
Other notable wins included Sara McCarthy and Brad Neumiller for the Mills City Council, Tim Ficken and Dan Sabrosky for the Barr Nunn Town Council, and Ernie Blackford and Dacia Edwards for the Evansville Town Council. In the Casper College District Trustees race, Brad Cundy, Jay Swedberg, Dale Bohren, and Kim Byrd were victorious for the 4-year term.
Voters also approved various specific purpose sales and use tax propositions, including funding for an animal shelter, Casper Ice Arena, Hogadon Chair Lift, softball fields, Casper Fire Station 1, 911 Dispatch Center, and a new auxiliary gym. Additionally, Constitutional Amendment A, regarding residential property tax, was approved with a 58% for and 42% against vote.
