Oregon Ducks finish perfect regular season with 49-21 rout of Washington Huskies. The Ducks’ defense dominated, shutting out the Huskies for most of the second half and recording a single-game record of 10 sacks. Quarterback Dillon Gabriel threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns, while the ground game gained 236 yards. Oregon’s top receiver, Tez Johnson, returned from injury and caught a touchdown pass. This victory gave Ducks coach Dan Lanning his first win over the Huskies after three previous losses. Washington quarterback Demond Williams Jr. started over Will Rogers and threw for 201 yards and a touchdown, but was under constant pressure from the Ducks’ defense. The Huskies’ rushing attack was stifled, with top rusher Jonah Coleman held to only 3 yards on 11 carries. The loss drops Washington to a 6-6 record for the season. With this win, Oregon finishes the regular season undefeated at 12-0 and prepares to face Penn State in the Big Ten championship game. The Ducks’ strong performance sets them up as a top contender in the upcoming postseason.
