Global pop-rock band Maroon 5 brought Mumbai alive on December 3 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse with a thrilling performance that had fans screaming, singing, and dancing along to their biggest hits. Fans from all over India and even from across the globe flocked to the city to catch Adam Levine and the band live in action. The excitement peaked when Maroon 5 hit the stage at 8:10 PM, with Levine expressing regret for not performing in Mumbai sooner but promising to return for a longer stay next time. Indian artist Zaeden opened the evening and got the crowd ready for the main event.
One fan from Chennai spent over 80 thousand rupees to be there just to see Levine on stage, while another from South Korea booked flights from Gurgaon to Mumbai to ensure he didn’t miss the chance to see Maroon 5 perform live. A businessman from Jammu splurged 1.5 to 2 lakhs to relive his college days listening to Maroon 5 in Australia.
The band performed hits like Animals, Payphone, One More Night, and Girls Like You, with fans singing along to every word. The night ended with their chart-topping anthem Sugar at 9:40 PM. Fans were left buzzing with excitement and hopeful for Maroon 5’s return to the city.
