Cowboy football recruits 21 players, including two from Wyoming


The Wyoming Cowboy Football program has announced 21 commitments during the first day of the 2025 early signing period. These commitments come from 12 different states and include top recruits like Mason Drube from Campbell County High School and Cooper Lawson from Star Valley High School. Drube, ranked as the top recruit in Wyoming, passed for over 2,400 yards and was heavily recruited by several other schools. Lawson, ranked third in Wyoming, led his team to a state title and was named All-State and Lineman of the Year.

The 21 signees include a mix of offensive and defensive players, with more commitments expected today. Among the signees are BJ Inmon, a cornerback transfer from Snow College, Elvin Ampofo, a safety from Colorado, and Cade Brook, a defensive end from Colorado. The group also includes players from Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, Nebraska, Idaho, Missouri, California, and Iowa.

The signing day event marks an exciting time for the Wyoming Cowboy Football program as they gear up for the 2025 season.
