The University of Wyoming College of Agriculture, Life Sciences and Natural Resources will be hosting a Ranch Management and Agricultural Leadership seminar in Evanston on February 20. The seminar, part of the 2025 RMAL series, will focus on managing energy development opportunities for Wyoming producers. Panel members, including ranch owners and conservation experts, will discuss maintaining relationships with agencies, collaborating with energy development organizations, and opportunities in the carbon credit market. The event will take place at the Historic Roundhouse & Railyards in Evanston and will also be available via Zoom.
Community members and students can register for the seminar, which costs $25 per session for those not attending as part of a course. Each session includes a free meal for registered participants in-person. Following the Evanston session, two additional seminars will be hosted in Powell and Laramie on topics related to agriculture, agritourism, and ranching stewardship.
Participants in the seminar may also be interested in attending the free Southwest Wyoming Ag Day event taking place on the same day in Evanston. For more information and registration, individuals can visit the RMAL series website or contact RMAL Associate Director Randall Violett.
