MATBUS riders in Fargo, North Dakota now have a new tool to help them track down the next bus on their route. The live bus tracker, which updates every second, allows riders to choose between viewing a map or arrival times. The display shows all the routes, the capacity of the bus, and when it should be arriving at its next stop. MATBUS hopes that this new technology will make it easier for riders to navigate their commutes.
According to Taaren Haak, Marketing Manager for MATBUS, the live bus tracker can help riders see how close the bus is to their stop. This can be particularly helpful in severe weather conditions or when waiting indoors for a bus. By knowing exactly when the bus is approaching, riders can manage their time more effectively.
Later this summer, MATBUS will also be releasing a number that riders can dial or text to receive live updates on bus locations at various stops around town. This additional feature is aimed at providing even more convenience for riders and making public transportation in Fargo more accessible and efficient.
The introduction of the live bus tracker is a welcome addition for MATBUS riders, offering them more convenience and control over their commutes. With this new technology, riders can plan their journeys more effectively and make the most of their time while waiting for the bus.
