Site work is currently underway for a new Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel in Casper, Wyoming, located at 1251 Wilkins Way. The four-story, 100-room hotel will feature a small outdoor patio area with fire pits and seating. The hotel is strategically positioned between the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center and the Ford Wyoming Center, making it an ideal location for visitors attending events at these venues.
The development plans were submitted by CHW Lodging LLC, a company based in Missoula, Montana, specializing in hotel development and management. The hotel is part of a larger trend of new hospitality offerings in Casper, with a Hyatt Place also under development in east Casper. Both hotels are emphasizing their proximity to the WYO Sports Ranch and Ford Wyoming Center as a selling point to attract guests.
The Casper City Council recently accepted a water line easement from CHW Lodging as part of the development agreement, highlighting the city’s support for the project. The new hotel is expected to enhance the area’s tourism and accommodation options, providing visitors with a comfortable and convenient place to stay while attending events in Casper.
Erck Hotels, the parent company of CHW Lodging, did not respond to requests for comment on the project. However, with construction underway and a prime location near major event spaces, the new Homewood Suites by Hilton is poised to become a popular choice for travelers visiting Casper.
