Closure of Frankie V’s in Wyoming, Being Sold to Developer

After more than 20 years in business, Frankie V’s Sicilian Pizza and Grill in Wyoming is closing as the city center project progresses. Owners Frank and Wanda Vitale, who have operated the restaurant for two decades, have decided to sell the business and downsize to a catering kitchen with possible takeout services in the area. The Vitales expressed their gratitude for the years of support from the local community and the opportunity to be a part of many families’ special occasions.

The restaurant, known for serving pizza, burgers, pasta, and more, will close at the end of August as part of the Wyoming City Center development project. Magnus Capital Partners, a private real estate developer, has purchased Frankie V’s as part of the project’s third phase, which includes integrating the restaurant into the HōM Flats at 28 West mixed-use development.

The City of Wyoming and Magnus have been collaborating on a public-private partnership for six years to create the Wyoming City Center, a space that includes housing, public amenities, and mixed-use buildings. City Manager John Shay expressed excitement about the future of Wyoming and the possibilities that the development project will bring to the community.

Magnus is expected to submit project plans for the next phase of development to the City of Wyoming in the coming months. The closure of Frankie V’s marks a bittersweet end to a beloved local establishment but signals progress and growth for the city as they continue to reimagine their community.
