Local high school sports teams have a busy week ahead with a full schedule of games and matches. On Wednesday, Lackawanna Trail Track & Field will face off against Mountain View, while the baseball and softball teams will take on Elk Lake. Additionally, the boys volleyball team will compete against Wilkes-Barre Area, and Tunkhannock Area will have girls lacrosse and boys lacrosse matches.
Thursday will see Elk Lake Boys Volleyball playing against Abington Heights, Lackawanna Trail Boys Volleyball facing Mountain View, and Tunkhannock Area Softball playing against Pittston Area. The baseball team will compete against Lake-Lehman, while the boys lacrosse team will take on Lewisburg.
Friday’s schedule includes Elk Lake Baseball playing against Mid Valley, EL Softball facing Blue Ridge, and Tunkhannock Area Boys Tennis competing against Lake-Lehman. Meanwhile, the baseball team will be on the road against Lakeland.
The action continues on Saturday with Lackawanna Trail Baseball competing against Old Forge and Tunkhannock Area Girls Lacrosse facing off against Wyoming Seminary. The softball team will play against Parkland.
