Beverly Hills, CA — The AirCar, hailed as the world’s first mass-produced flying car, was officially unveiled by Slovakia-based Klein Vision on May 8. The production prototype was showcased at the 2025 Living Legends of Aviation Gala Dinner, with notable attendees including Prince Harry.
Having already earned a Certificate of Airworthiness, the AirCar boasts an impressive record, completing over 170 flight hours and more than 500 takeoffs and landings. What truly sets this vehicle apart is its ability to transition from car to aircraft in under two minutes, allowing users to drive directly to an airport before taking off.
Klein Vision plans to price the AirCar between £600,000 and £750,000, varying with luxury features, with initial units expected for sale in early 2026. A compelling promotional video from 2022 showcased an earlier prototype both driving on roads and flying.
Stefan Klein, the founder of Klein Vision, expressed his excitement, stating, "The AirCar fulfills a lifelong dream to bring the freedom of flight to everyday people." His vision of merging road and sky into a new dimension of mobility is rapidly materializing.
