Purdum expressed enthusiasm about the balance and competitiveness of the upcoming schedule, highlighting key matchups against respected programs such as Georgia and Colorado. The season kicks off on August 14 with an away match against Drake, while the home opener is set for August 21 against Northern Colorado in the much-anticipated Rocky Mountain Derby. Additional non-conference home games include Regis on August 24 and Idaho on September 14. The Mountain West Conference schedule begins at Boise State on September 25, followed by a match at Utah State on September 28. The Cowgirls will enjoy their longest homestand of the season with four consecutive games against UNLV, Nevada, Air Force, and Colorado College.
The 2024 season concluded with a record of 4-6-9, marking a historic achievement as Wyoming defeated its first ranked opponent, No. 11 Utah State.
