Two Separate Shooting Incidents Unfold in Casper, Wyoming
Casper, Wyo. – The Casper Police Department is investigating two separate shootings that occurred Sunday evening. At approximately 6:50 p.m., officers responded to a report of gunshots and a traumatic injury in the 1900 block of South Missouri Avenue. Upon arrival, authorities found two individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were promptly transported to Banner Wyoming Medical Center for treatment.
Simultaneously, while officers were addressing the first incident, another unrelated shooting was reported in the 100 block of South Washington Street. Officers located one victim at this second site, who was also taken to Banner Wyoming Medical Center for medical assistance.
As investigations continue at both locations, the Casper Police Department is urging the public to avoid the areas surrounding the incidents for their safety and to allow law enforcement to conduct thorough investigations.
