Three Injured in Separate Gunshot Incidents in Casper

CASPER, Wyo. — Casper police report that three individuals were hospitalized after two separate gunshot incidents on Sunday night.

The first incident occurred around 6:50 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Missouri Avenue when the Public Safety Communications Center received calls about gunfire and a traumatic injury. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals with apparent gunshot wounds. Both were promptly transported to Banner Wyoming Medical Center for treatment.

While authorities were responding to the Missouri Avenue incident, another unrelated shooting was reported in the 100 block of South Washington Street. One person from this scene was also taken to the hospital, though details about their condition remain unclear.

Casper Police Chief Jeremy Tremel confirmed that both incidents are under active investigation and urged the public to avoid the impacted areas as police work to gather more information. East First Street is currently closed between Jefferson and Conwell as part of this investigation.

The Casper Police Department has promised to provide updates as more details become available. Residents are advised to stay clear of the vicinity while law enforcement continues their inquiries into these troubling events.
