Kushal Tandon, Siddhant Issar, and Lovey Sasan Cancel Turkey Trips Amid Political Tensions
In a recent wave of travel cancellations by Indian celebrities, actor Kushal Tandon, alongside Siddhant Issar and Lovey Sasan, has publicly expressed their decision to forego planned trips to Turkey due to the country’s support for Pakistan.
Kushal Tandon revealed on social media that his mother and her friends canceled a week-long vacation to Turkey, which was intended to celebrate a birthday. “Despite a fully booked trip and no chance of a refund, we decided against traveling there,” he stated, emphasizing his commitment to prioritizing his country above all else.
Similarly, newlywed Siddhant Issar had anticipated a honeymoon in Turkey after marrying Surbhi Shukla. However, following the recent Pahalgam terror attack, Siddhant and his wife reassessed their plans. “We’ve not only canceled our trip to Turkey but also paused watching Turkish dramas, which we used to enjoy,” he shared, also looking forward to visiting Kashmir instead.
Lovey Sasan, known for her role in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, planned a 20-day family trip with her two sons. After witnessing the serious implications of Turkey’s political stance, she stated, “Even with a partial refund, it was the right choice to cancel. We’ve redirected our plans to Goa instead.”
