Local High Schools Shine in Upcoming Wyoming Shrine Bowl

Sheridan, WY – Eight talented senior football players from Sheridan, Big Horn, and Buffalo High Schools have earned spots on the North Team for the prestigious 2025 Wyoming Shrine Bowl Football Game. This all-star event highlights top players from the northern region, pitting them against their southern counterparts in a spirited matchup, all while raising funds for the Shriner’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Representing Sheridan High School are Kelten Crow, Ty Gilbertson, and Bridger Peldo. From Big Horn High School, Avon Barney, Kolby Butler, and Will Taylor will take the field, and Buffalo High School will be represented by Zayne Huber and Hayden Jawors. Their hard work and dedication have paid off, and their participation reflects the rich football tradition in their communities.

Coached by Nicc Crosby of Lovell, the North Team aims to continue its successful streak, having previously won the series 27-20-3 and clinching victory in last year’s game. Team practices will begin on June 7, leading up to the highly anticipated game.

The Wyoming Shrine Bowl not only showcases athletic talent but also emphasizes community support for the Shriners’ charitable efforts, making it a meaningful event for players and fans alike. This year’s game is set for Saturday, June 14, at Natrona County High School in Casper, promising a thrilling showcase of football talent and sportsmanship.

Local supporters are encouraged to attend and cheer on their homegrown athletes as they compete for glory and contribute to a worthy cause, reinforcing the importance of community in sports.
