The Post Six Firecracker Tournament had an exciting Day Two as the Sixers bounced back from a shutout loss with a shutout win against the Rocky Mountain Lobos. Pitcher Braden Pearson had an impressive performance, pitching six shutout innings and striking out nine batters. The Sixers dominated at the plate as well, with Corey Williams delivering a key hit in the third inning to help secure a 9-0 victory. Williams went 3-4 with 3 RBI and scored three runs himself. In addition to their offensive prowess, the Sixers also showcased their defensive skills with Caden Westby throwing out two consecutive baserunners attempting to steal. The team will continue their tournament run on Saturday at 6:00 PM at Powers Field against the Idaho Falls Bandits.
